Hi, I’m Jade Ashman, the founder of My Childcare and Me and The Parent Club—but before that, I’m a mum. And like you, I know what it feels like to want the absolute best for your child—to want them to thrive, feel confident, and be truly understood.
My journey has involved parenting, professional training, and years of experience supporting families—especially those navigating additional needs, school transitions, and complex paperwork. I’ve been a voice for parents who often feel unheard, and I’ve stood beside families as they’ve advocated for the support their children deserve.
I started My Childcare and Me because I didn’t want to create just another nursery. I wanted to build a community where children are genuinely nurtured, and where parents feel like they’re part of something bigger—a space where your worries are valid, your questions are welcomed, and your wins (big or small) are celebrated.
So whether your child is learning to manage big emotions, trying new foods, preparing for school, or simply needs a little extra support along the way—you’re in the right place.

My Childcare & Me is a small privately owned day nursery, providing excellent child care for children aged between 3 months and 5 years old. Not many understand better than us that babies and young children learn at their own pace. We know the importance of a safe and nurturing environment and the impact it can have on your child’s development.
In addition to our day nursery services, we also offer an after school club, with pick-up services from local schools, and a holiday club to support your family’s needs throughout the year. Tutoring sessions available for Maths and English: KS1, KS2, and 11+. Our all-inclusive programs have been thoughtfully created by a team of mums, qualified teachers, early years practitioners, therapists, and most importantly, children!
We understand that each child is unique and learns differently, so our experienced tutors adapt their methods to meet your child’s individual needs. My Learning & Me aims to carefully tailor tuition to suit age, aptitude, and ability, ensuring the best possible learning experience.
