My Parents and Me Club – Your Village of Support for Children 0-18 and the Parents Who Raise Them

Parenting is a journey filled with joy, trials, and infinite learning. At The Parent Club, we understand that no two families are alike and that every child deserves to thrive in an environment where they are understood, nurtured, and celebrated. That’s why we created the My Parents and Me Club—a safe, supportive space for families of children aged 0–18. Whether you're a new parent learning the ropes or navigating the unique challenges of raising a child with disabilities or learning needs, My Parents and Me Club is your village of support, understanding, and empowerment.

A Vision Born from Experience

Parensta was founded by Jade, a passionate working mother whose personal experiences with her two beautiful daughters, Ashli-May and Jaida Faith, shaped her vision. Jade understood firsthand the need for real, reliable support systems for parents—not just advice from books, but compassionate, community-led guidance grounded in lived experience. Her daughters inspired not only her parenting style but the heart of this initiative: to build a community where every family’s story matters, and every child’s potential is nurtured.

The Power of Community in Parenting

The phrase “it takes a village to raise a child” has never been more relevant. Research shows that families with access to strong social support are more resilient, less likely to experience burnout, and better equipped to navigate parenting challenges (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2023). At My Parents and Me Club, we bring together families, educators, specialists, and caregivers to create a nurturing network where support is readily available and compassion is at the core.

Our club offers regular meetups, inclusive playgroups, workshops, webinars, and emotional support for families—helping break the isolation that can sometimes accompany parenting, especially when raising a child with additional needs.

Parenting Children with Disabilities and Learning Needs

Raising a child with disabilities or learning differences presents unique challenges—but also extraordinary joys. According to the World Health Organization, over 1 billion people globally live with some form of disability, with many experiencing challenges starting in childhood. The early years are critical in a child’s development, and children with disabilities benefit immensely from tailored support that addresses their individual learning and emotional needs.

The My Parents and Me Club provides resources and peer connections for parents of children with:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

  • Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

  • Down Syndrome

  • Dyslexia and other specific learning disabilities

  • Sensory Processing Disorders

  • Physical and developmental delays

We collaborate with educators, therapists, and inclusion advocates to help parents understand Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), secure additional services, and learn how to advocate effectively within schools and healthcare systems.

Inclusive Parenting: A Compassionate Approach

Inclusive parenting recognizes that children do not all grow, learn, or express themselves in the same way. At My Parents and Me Club, we support an inclusive parenting model grounded in empathy, patience, and adaptation. We know that raising neurodiverse children requires flexibility and awareness. Our community provides tools, such as:

  • Behavior support strategies

  • Communication techniques for non-verbal children

  • Resources for sensory-friendly environments

  • Social stories and visual schedules

  • Peer and sibling support tools

Through interactive workshops, parents learn how to foster emotional regulation, reduce sensory overload, and build meaningful connections with their children—regardless of ability.

Early Intervention and Lifelong Impact

Early intervention is one of the most effective tools for supporting children with developmental differences. According to the CDC, early intervention services can significantly improve a child’s development, communication skills, and independence. Our club educates families about spotting early signs of developmental delays, seeking professional evaluation, and finding the right services early on.

My Parents and Me Club partners with local health and education providers to guide families through referrals, support applications for Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs), and facilitate therapy access. Whether your child is 2 or 17, we walk the path with you.

Real Stories, Real Support

Nothing is more powerful than hearing from parents who’ve walked the same road. At My Parents and Me Club, storytelling is at the heart of what we do. Parents share their journeys, from navigating first diagnoses to celebrating small yet mighty victories. These stories create connections, validate experiences, and show others they are not alone.

Our club’s online and in-person spaces offer an open platform for these stories, creating a collective wisdom that helps guide new families and celebrate progress, no matter how slow or small it may seem.

Celebrating the Tapestry of Family Life

At The Parent Club, we embrace the beautiful chaos of parenthood and celebrate the rich, diverse tapestry that each family brings. Every child—regardless of ability, background, or learning style—adds a vibrant thread to our community.

We believe that parents raising children with disabilities are not just caregivers; they are advocates, educators, cheerleaders, and champions. Through My Parents and Me Club, we offer recognition, rest, and rejuvenation. We remind you that your hard work is seen, your love matters, and your child’s life has purpose and possibility.
